This place rocks,Great food, free admission to great bands, awesome looking bartenders who are quick to serve you. Watch for Al the dancing machine jumping up on the dance floor.Best show in there besides the bands. |

My crew was in Friday June 15 and saw the Party Sharks. Great band. Those guys rock. Love the blues but a change is good. Get the Party Sharks back soon. |

I came for pizza nad a couple of beers with some friends. The food, service and ambience was great. The music was incredible. The Gracie Blues played that night and I will be back when they play again. What a solid sound. A very fun night. |

Love the new bar. Saw this woman singer there the other night cindy daily, she was unbelievable and the band smoked. I could not believe her!!! the place was awesome. |

Best bar on the South Shore to see live music. Terrific rotation of blues bands, great food, good prices, and a friendly crowd. No cover charge is a huge plus. |

First visited the NEXT PAGE Friday, April 20 2007. Listened to The J Place Band -- as always, excellent. Patrons 20's to 50's dancing. This bar is cool -- great all round atmosphere. |

I visited the Next Page Cafe for the 1st time about a month ago.
The place makes you feel like home.
It is true that the bartenderesses are beautiful and quite friendly and welcoming....It is not a huge place, but that's what makes it work.
Definately come and give this place some love...They'll give it right back -- Plus more! |

The music is vibrant, the crowd upbeat, and the staff super fantastic, from the comedic barbacks to the accomodating cook and the best bartenders in the business.

Great Place! Good Food. Even better Blues!!! Just checked out the place the other night after renovations. I was afraid opening the joint up a bit might affect the tight sound this place always had. Not the case at all. Just proves Bigger is Better!! Hey and the bartenders are not too hard on the eyes either. LOL. |

I just moved from out of town and was looking for a good local hangout. I was surprised when I found the quaint Next Page Cafe'. Great food, better pizza and a nice friendfly vibe. Score more in that The Page offers free live music 4-5 nites a week. Everywhere i've ever heard great music, there was a cover charge or higher drink prices..no so here! Thursdays, theres a cool open mic blues jam hosted by some guy called Satchmo. He leads a band and then lets others get up and play!! Also his band plays and I've seen many more since i first ventured here, play on weekends. The place gets raucous and people dance. The owners, Fred and Mara Page are usually there being gracious and making sure all are happy with the service. Not a problem there. I'm a regular there now and enjoy meeting people and trying new pizzas, especially on Tuesdays for $2.00 pizza nite. Way cool, check it out and come over and say hi to me. Bambi Freebee :) |

The Thursday night blues jam is a very good take -- usually some very very good local talent with the occasional bonehead thrown in, but one thing you can usually count on is the presence of one of the best sax players in America, Bruce McGrath. |

The Open Mike September 13th was my lucky night - Satch Romano and his gang - you can tell these guys PLAY, not just 'jam' - they were great...the opening band, Gulf Boyz had rock to go with the blues, worked out real nice! I would hear Romano again, big time, sounds like sour grapes cause the crowd loved everything that night! GREAT Pizza too... |

I was at Next Page for the first time.
I saw three bands Blue Dog, Mission of Blues and Romano Band. Two out of three isn't bad as I thoroughly enjoyed the first two and could care less to hear Romano's vocals and harmonica playing again. The staff was great! The room exudes a pleasant warmth. A real hidden gem in the South Shore! |

Hello,
This is Satch Romano with New Blue Prodcutions, booking and promotions for The Next Page Cafe'. I apologize for the events calendar not being up to speed, but this is a rarely updated web site. I send people here to read reviews and to find a map and directions..If you scroll down here, you'll find the complete December and Jan. 08 schedule.
One change is that we will be closed on Monday, New Years' Eve, but will continue to celebrate the new year with our 2nd Annual NYE- EVE Party on Sunday, December 3Oth. 8PM -1AM. $5.00 admission includes live music with my New Blue Revue All-Stars and special guests. Hot/ Cold buffet, noisemakers, champagne toast and watch the ball drop from Times Square on six big TV's!!!
